Hey from MN,

My name is Scott Ewen and I'll be leading a small group of paddlers on a kayaking trip to NC. We plan to be there Saturday March 10th to Saturday March 17th. We'll stay in Charlotte Saturday till Monday and run the Cataweb and USNWC. Monday night we'll travel to Asheville and spend the rest of our trip there. We plan to stay at a USFS campground somewhere around Asheville. I'm a solid class IV boater but my buddies are II+, III- at best. We will all be paddling playboats. The rivers and play spots I want to hit include:
French Broad
Upper Green
Nantahala
Some park and play on the Nolichucky
and maybe the Tuckaseegee and Ocoee.

If anyone has any feedback on these river choices, or if you'd like to paddle with us while we're there, shoot me an email. Thanks.

The link is for our club up here in Duluth, MN.

Hey Scott, I am also a Scott, and will also be in NC March 9-19, and looking for paddling partners. I shot you an e-mail but never heard back from you. (check your junk e-mail?) Would love to get in touch with you about paddling. e-mail me scott_schelter@yahoo.com

Site look funky?  Your browser is so old standards-based layouts and styling confuse it.  Consider updating.  Good options include:  Mozilla (Linux, Mac, Windows),  Mozilla Firefox (Linux, Mac, Windows),  Netscape v7 or higher (Linux, Mac, Windows),  Opera v7 or higher (Linux, Mac, Windows),  Galeon (Linux),  Konqueror (Linux),  Apple Safari (Mac),  Mozilla Camino (Mac),  Microsoft Internet Explorer v5 or higher (Mac),  Microsoft Internet Explorer v6 or higher (Windows).  All are free.  Because of security concerns I personally avoid Internet Explorer.  It may or may not be more buggy than its competitors, but its prominence and Microsoft's notoriety make it the most frequent target of malicious crackers.
